NEW DEREON BEYONCE PHOTO SHOOT

UGH!! Beyonce is giving me way too much life right now, here are some new Dereon Ad pics thanks to  Beyonce World for the pics (that i took) lol See a few more when you POP THE HOOD

KEYSHIA COLE IS......

"Calling all hearts".....which is the name of her New and Forth Album which dropped yesterday. Who also dropped yesterday was Jamie Foxx with "Best night of my life" and Keri Hilson with "No boys allowed" of the three the most i'm hearing about is Keri Hilsons which is good for her I suppose. I gave a pretty detailed review of Jamie foxx's album so theres no need to go there. The one i'm pulling for most is Keyshia Cole. She recently made a statement about how she knew the label didn't want "I ain't thru" To be her first single but she pushed for it anyway... she says that she probably should have listened but that she has no regrets. Keyshia boo boo, i understand your happy and think everything in life is beautiful, but this is your career and you can't be letting us fans down with mediocre singles. I enjoy "Long way down" much more then i do "I Ain't thru" and I really wish she would push that single a little harder. Nonetheless i plan on copping "Calling all hearts" will you? And if you have already how is it?

CIARA'S BASIC INSTINCT TANKS...

With just over 37,000 copies sold, Tank, Diddy Dirty Money, R.Kelly and Michael Jackson all outsold The Princess of Crunk For their first week album sales (most impressively R.Kelly and Michael Jackson). I didn't really blog this for numbers sake I just.....need for her to know some things.....get some shit off of my chest. So let's just call this a "Dear Ciara" Letter.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how someone like CIARA with many hits and awards under her belt could flop so hard and allow the likes of DIDDY DIRTY MONEY (whom i like) to surpass her. Something in the water aint clean....where are your stans Ciara?? There has got to be more people who love a good Ciara track then a mere 37,000, hell you barely outsold SOULJA BOY. I don't understand how her fans and stans alike could allow this. I understand that we are living in a time where hardly anyone is buying albums anymore, i mean the only ones that seem to be winning is Young Money, and trust me i won't come out of the mouth to hate on them because CLEARLY weezy is doing something right, but I just find if very Odd that Ciara could tank so badly. I think alot of it is due to the fact that there was little to no promotion for this album, she hadn't even started doing performances of "Gimme Dat" ,which came out early last month, until last week. Another problem is the fact that her first single "Ride" hit the scene almost 6 months ago, the push back of this album was just too much, had she released the album when "Ride" was making a splash with its Risky lyrics and video I think she would have sold alot more. Her second single "Gimme Dat" is ok but we all know that ciara's slower and more Hip-hop inspired songs do better on the charts. Why isn't anyone telling Ciara that shit is all bad right now?? How come noone told her that "Gimme Dat" wasn't the best single choice? How come noone said "Hey I dont think you should keep pushing back this album"? Does she have any damn friends? Maybe instead of hanging with LaLa and Kim Kardasian she should be hanging with women in her profession, she spent too much time away from music and whats happening. AND WHERE THE FUCK IS MISSY??? It's obvious that Missy is the person that should have been producing her album and not "The Dream" who is known for fucking up everybody elses album but his. (see Mariah Carey's Last album). Jermaine Dupree, Missy Elliiot and Timbaland are three people KNOWN for giving artist some of their best work ever. Jermaine Gave Usher and Mariah great albums yet noone seems to think he is capable of doing it again. Missy has helped, Fantasia, Monica, Jazmine Sullivan and countless others get hit singles but still when it comes to producing a whole album noone thinks to go to her. Everyone wants The Dream and Tricky Stewart, or Stargate to produce their albums, the problem with that is those are very young producers who are mostly interested in creating a new sound and don't have your best interest at heart. I'd rather Timbaland produce me a whole record ANYDAY over these newbies. Albums these days are lacking cohesiveness, flow, a theme, and soul all because their trying to stick with the new new, and for some it works, but it's obvious that alot of the best artist out there are suffering because their not paying attention to what their fans want. Ciara called herself going back to the old Ciara, which is fine, but where are the singles to back that up? Where is the promotion? Where is the Missy track that we always get from you? I don't understand how you only push one single in 6 months and expect to get album sales. This blog is all over the place I know but i'm just typing what comes to mind.

Ms.Harris ....I suggest you build the greatest tour ever with some of the best artist opening up for you, do a hot record with a hot artist out now and not just FUCKIN LUDACRIS. Put Missy back to work, and stop hanging around socialites, you said yourself that you spent too much time on red carpets and hanging out. It's time to buckle down and create something that america will never forget, sort of like What Diddy is doing, no he didn't go Gold or Platinum but he has an album on his hands that is getting great reviews and he's creating a buzz for himself, promoting till no end and giving us good music which led to him doing better then we all expected. There's no reason for newbies like Drake, Nicki Minaj and fuckin Keri Killson to be doing better then someone like Ciara who is on her fourth studio album NO REASON.

If i was a Ciara fan right now i would be LIVID. But i don't have this problem because i stan for Beyonce....and when #BeySeason comes, she will show all you bitches how it's really done.....because i don't stan for flops....only winners.

ALBUM REVIEW: JAMIE FOXX "BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE"

Ok....so I don't usually do Album reviews...but i'm bored, it's Saturday, and i'm sitting here listening to all my new music. The album I just HAD to review is Jamie Foxx's "Best Night of My Life". How do I start this off....hmmmmmm, well first of all let me just say that the promotion of this album is TERRIBLE, mostly because there is none, and the album officially drops this coming Tuesday, but after listening to the album i see  why it hasn't been promoted...... it's mediocre at best.

The first song on the album is "This will be" which I suppose is more of an intro, it samples Natalie Cole's song (same title) and it is basically Jamie putting a play on words and joking around like he loves to do.... but in my opinion it's pretty useless. The second song is called "Best night of my life", it's a nice little club song ft. Wiz Khalifa. It's not a bad song and i wouldn't mind it getting single treatment because there will be others that like it more then I do. The problem is that the next three tracks are the same club type of singles, "living better now" "Winner" and "Freak" I really can't tell one from the other, "Winner" features Justin Timberlake and T.I and was actually leaked months ago, I didn't care for it then and I don't now. "Freak" has a pop vibe and its TERRIBLE. What i hate the most about some writers is that they don't pay attention to the person that they are writing for and give them songs that don't fit them, their personality, or their voice. There is a way to write a song that is different and innovative while still being able to make it fit that artist, that is the problem for me with "Freak" its a very empty song that ANYBODY could have sang. Next up we have "Hit it like this" which is another club type of song, but it's actually a little better with its hard hitting beat (of course it will hit harder in your car or at the club). It doesn't last long but it's pretty solid and it's your usual sexual "get er drunk and get er done" song. After that we have "Yep dat's me" ft. Ludacris and *sigh* Soulja Boy. The persons bright idea it was to put Soulja Boy on a Jamie Foxx record should be fired. YET ANOTHER CLUB SONG "Yep Dats Me" was heavily pumped up by Jamie Foxx himself at the 106 & Park 10th anniversary special (you know the one where he acted like he was high of some sort of substance) but it didn't sound like much of anything to me. Despite me not liking the song, there will be alot of people getting crunk in the club to it. But in my opinion it sounds like too many other songs that have been out already minus the kiddie "Yep thats me" repetitive hook.

Now this is where my review gets better....I know you figured it wouldn't but it does. The album gets better with Jamie's Lead single "Fall for your type". I Had downloaded Drake's version of the song MONTHS ago so i was quite surprised when i heard Jamie's version only featuring Drake. It was weird because you get used to a song and then here comes someone else putting their flavor on it. I still like Jamie's version i just wish i hadn't heard Drakes version first. The smooth enticing beat was truly only meant for Drake. "Gorgeous" is next up after that and it is clearly the highlight of this album. The slow song shows Jamie giving props to that of a Gorgeous beautiful woman, it's kinda like the slow version of "Fancy" by Drake. What i forgot to mention is that during the first 5 songs Jamie decided to use alot of Auto-Tune so i was happy to hear "Gorgeous" because Jamie Left the Auto-tune in T-pains pocket on this one. Then comes the Interlude without actually being named "interlude" called "Let me get you on your toes" which kinda reminds me of a sexual version of blame it sans T-pain and the auto-tune. Too bad the song doesn't even make it to 2 minutes because it could easily receive the single treatment. The next three songs "15 minutes", "Sleeping Pill" and "Rejoice" are nice slow sexy songs that give us standard jamie foxx and are good listens, especially "15 minutes" which reminds me of something off of his first album, Jamie sings about only needing 15 minutes to get a girl right *side eye*.

"Best night of my life" takes a turn BACK to the worst with the next two songs "All said and Done" and "Sex on the beach" (which is another pop type of song) Neither one deserves me describing it. "All said and done" is very repetitive and juvenile.... i guess he was going for a "alternative rock" feel on it but..... I hate it...alot. "Sex on the beach" is another terrible song, something Kesha should be singing....and of course it adds some good ole Auto-tune. The last song on the album is "Speak French" which I actually grew to love, OVER TWO YEARS AGO! I can't understand why he put this song on the album as old as it is, but whatever, it's better then the last two songs so it gets a pass. The song features Gucci Mane....which usually calls for a negative but in this case he fits well on the song.

Over all i give it a 2 out of 5 stars, for 3 reasons. One, the album is not cohesive at all, it doesn't flow and everyone knows i'm a stickler for a Cohesive album. Number two the album would be a little more cohesive if he put the songs in better order, the best songs are at the end of the album, and if i wasn't a fan of Jamie and was hearing the album for the first time, i would have cut it off after track #3.My number three problem is the material. The songs seem forced, like people are writing and producing for him without him in mind. Like i stated earlier I can't stand when a writer/producer is more worried about their sound then the artist that they are working for, whoever produced this album for Jamie is clearly a little selfish, yeah the beats are okay but hardly any of the songs fit Jamie's style. I think he needs to put Tank back on his writing/producing team. Nothing Jamie has done lately has come close to the greatness of his First album.....even vocally Jamie has been lazy. *Sigh* I'm so very disappointed, but there are at least 5 songs out of the 16 that i would bang on a regular basis.

Jamie Foxx's "Best night of my life" is set to be released December the 21st.....will you be copping it?

JUSTIN COMBS IMITATES HIS FATHER

I thought this was so cute, I had to share. Justin Combs makes a video promoting "Last Train to Paris" for his father, the video imitates that of the "Ciroc smooth talk with diddy" commercials, this is one of the few times where Justin actually looks and sounds like Puffy to me.

NEW VIDEO: CHRISETTE MICHELE "GOODBYE GAME"

Chrisette Michele has hit us with a new video for her new single "Goodbye Game" There hasn't been much promotion from Miss Michele but hopefully with a awesome song like this one she will be able to create some buzz and collect more album sales. Her album "Let Freedom Reign" Is in stores now. POP THE HOOD for the video

CIARA DOES LOPEZ TONIGHT

Ciara stopped by "Lopez tonight" as a continuation on her promotion trail for her album "Basic Instinct" while there, she did another GREAT performance of her current single "Gimme Dat" Basic Instinct is in stores now!! POP THE HOOD for the performance
